The price of hiring a marquee depends on various factors including the following:
Location
Travel includes not just fuel but staff time there will be a minimum of two return journeys to do and depending on the size of marquee we may have more than one vehicle involved. However we do try to keep costs as low as possible.
Number of people & Internal layout
The number of people and type of your event will determine the size of marquee you need, We will work out the most suitable size for your event.
Will it be standing room only or are you putting in tables, chairs, band, dancefloor, bar area etc. These all take up space in the marquee and also increase the size required.
Type of marquee
Our Pagoda style marquees are smaller and take less time to erect and are a great option for smaller parties. Our larger clear span marquees can be erected with or without linings to cater for more formal events like weddings, we price for all extras separately so you have more choice.
Duration of hire
The average hire period is normally 1-2 days, we will erect and have the marquee ready for you at least the day before it is needed and take down the day after but we can be fully flexible there is no extra charge for this – our larger marquees may take more than one day to erect. You can hire marquees for any period of time beyond this if you wish there may be an additional charge for this.
Ground
Ideally the marquees will be going on level ground on grass. If work is needed to erect the marquee on a site that is not level we may charge for additional labor also if the marquee is not going on grass and we cannot stake down, weights will be provided and may charge for these depending on the number required.
